The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed in regards to the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The assistance place developed for intervention experiences a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa will mobilise a lot more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
